Nigerians have started their proposed nation-wide protest across the nation to protest against economic hardship despite the government’s last-minute push to prevent it.  The nation-wide protest against bad governance in Nigeria supported by civil society groups, labour unions, students, religious groups indicate a growing desire for social change in Nigeria. The ten-day protest that commenced on the 1st of August will continue till 10th of August, 2024.
